The central disk spins and the impression of a slowly rotating series of space satellites is achieved by rapid switching of the neon tubes. The outer panels have image fragments etched into them, showing aeroplane wing components, aerial bombardment and sound waves. The white plaster panels are cast around a feather and have been opened out in the way a rock is split to reveal fossils. The piece is 1.2 metres wide and is intended to be viewed in a darkened space.
